2011-2012 Awana Clubber Registration Form

We are so pleased to be offering another year of AWANA Clubs Ministry at Faith
Baptist Church! AWANA stands for "Approved Workman are not ashamed" taken from II Timothy 2:15. Children ages 2 years through 6th grade have an incredible time learning truths from God's Word through age-appropriate lessons and challenges. Each week, your child has the opportunity to learn a truth such as a Bible verse, basic principle or promise from the Bible and share it with their leader during Counsel Time. Children earn awards based on their progress and attendance and, most importantly, a love for God and His Word is planted in their hearts at a young age.

Letter from the Commander

We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your child in the AWANA Club. Our leadership team is excited about the activities scheduled this year and look forward to enjoying them with your child. We also pray that each child will learn more from God’s Word as it is taught throughout the year.

Anticipating that you will have some questions about AWANA, we have included some basic information that should answer most of your questions. If you need further information after reading this, please feel free to call the church.

We need your support and prayers throughout the year and look forward to this being the “best” AWANA year at Faith Baptist Church.
Sincerely, Lynn Gay, Commander

General Information

AWANA is an International Youth program offered by Faith Baptist Church as a positive influence in the development of our area’s young people.

The AWANA name is derived from a verse in the Bible found in II Timothy 2:15, Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. Our club is one of almost 10,000 around the world and our charter number is 8099. We encourage you to work with your child to help them learn the sections in their handbook. With your help and our exciting program, we will see tremendous growth in the children. Please take a few minutes each day to review with your child. I am sure they will surprise you with how quickly they can accomplish the goals set forth in the program.

We have committed, trained and dedicated people serving as leaders who will work faithfully with your child.
