Missions and Seniors Pastor
I’ve had the blessed privilege of being on staff here at Faith, under Senior Pastor Bowen’s leadership, since January 2000.
As a young man, after high school graduation I attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, served in the United State Marine Corps, and completed my education at Hardbarger’s School of Business with a degree in Business Administration. I had worked for Siemens Energy and Automation for twenty years when I felt the Lord leading me into full time service at Faith Baptist Church.
It was my joy to begin work here at Faith as Director of Music and to teach our “30-Something”
Sunday School Class for many years. God richly blessed our service in those areas and then He opened up new doors of opportunity. I currently serve as Director of Missions and Senior Adult Ministries.
I believe the very heart of God is Missions and we have a mandate to fulfill the Great Commission and reach the world for Christ. The highlight of the year is our annual World Outreach Missions Conference. Through Faith-Promise giving God has enabled us to meet our commitments to 225+ missionaries and missions ministries supported through the Missions Ministry here at FBC. It’s amazing to see how God blesses those who are faithful in prayer and financial support of our missions program.
I have been married to my precious wife, Glenda, going on 40 years. Together, we have been on a life-time journey, loving and serving together, with Jesus Christ as our guide. We have one daughter, Wendy, who has a heart for people and serves the Lord in various ministries of the church.
Our life-time goal continues to be remaining faithful and committed to loving and serving our Lord and his people.
